Benefits & Expectations of VISTA Members
VISTA members serve full-time (typically 40 hours per week). Service year starts July 30th , 2016 to
July 29 th , 2017. (VISTAs should be available on evenings and weekends as needed.)
VISTA members are eligible for:
Modest Living Allowance ($11,676-$11,797 for the year)
Healthcare Allowance
Qualified Student Loan Forbearance
Qualified Childcare Assistance
$5,775 Education Award upon successful completion of service OR $1500 stipend
Relocation Allowance of up to $550 if relocating more than 50 miles
10 sick days and 10 vacation days

The Duluth Public Schools and The Head Of The Lakes United Way are seeking an AmeriCorps
