This document provides an overview of the Vyapam scam that occurred in Madhya Pradesh, India. It began as a scam involving politicians, officials, and businessmen rigging admissions and recruitment for government jobs. Over 300 unqualified candidates were found to have made the merit lists due to impersonation and bribery. The scam was uncovered by Dr. Anand Rai and dated back to 2004. It involved manipulation of exam results and candidates securing spots in medical colleges through unfair means. Many high-level people were involved, including the former education minister, doctors, and other officials from the Vyapam examination controller's office. It was considered the biggest scandal to have impacted Madhya Pradesh.
