being weekend in Saudi Arabia,
the equivalent of Sunday.

cities of KSA, to pursue, fellowship and blend.

28. TheChurchinOMAN (2006)
The LAMPSTAND in Oman started in 2006 in
the capital city of Muscat with two expatriate
families from India and Malaysia.
Currently, there are 10 saints (from India and
Philippines) with only one family meeting for
Lord’s’ Table on Friday. Meetings are held in a
home.
PRAYER REQUESTS
1. Pray for intensified shepherding and
perfecting of the saints.
2. Pray to raise up a full-timer to shepherd
the saints and help them to propagate.
3. Pray for more visitation from overseas
churches to encourage the saints.
29. KUWAIT

30. THE CHURCH IN KUWAIT (2009)
The lampstand in Kuwait was established in 2009 with less than
10 saints. Currently there are about 22 saints regularly meeting
mainly from India and the Philippines. They meet in a rented
classroom of a private institute.
Weekly they gather for Lord’s Table Meeting on Friday and for
various meetings (Prayer Meeting, Life-study Pursuit & Gospel
Meetings) during weekday evenings.

33. The Church in BAHRAIN (2012)
The Lord’s Table Meeting in Manama,
Bahrain only started in 2012 although
the saints have been meeting for pursuit
and fellowship since 2009.
With two families laboring together
there are now 17 saints with 3 children
coming to the Lord’s Table every Friday.
Small-group Life-study Meeting and
Prayer Meetings are held on weekdays.

35. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
The first Lord’s Table meeting
in UAE began in June 1995 in
Abu Dhabi by the saints from
India with other Asian
expatriates who came to the
church life through the local
churches in their home
countries.
Currently there are four local churches in UAE: Abu Dhabi (1995) with 54 saints,
Sharjah (2007) with 66 saints, Al-Ain (2010) with 15 saints and Dubai (2011) with 60
saints. Out of these 195 saints, 120 are actively meeting at the Lord’s Table.
Regular Meetings held are Lord’s Table, Prayer Meetings, Small-Group /Home
Meetings, Blending & Gospel Meetings
• Located just below the Persian Gulf
east of Saudi Arabia and northwest of
Oman.
• It consists of 7 emirates or states
namely: Abu Dhabi (capital), Dubai,
Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras
al-Khaimah, and Fujairah.
• Area: 83,600 sq. km.
• Population: 5.47 million (19% locals /
81% foreigners from 180 countries)
