The group analyzed their opening for the Cabin idea and realized they did not like it, despite the work put into it. They then analyzed the idea of Possession but decided it was more of a horror than a thriller. The group agreed to go back to the drawing board and create a crime thriller instead, as that genre is not overdone currently. They plan to find influences for their new idea involving masks, then each create their own storyboard which they will pitch to each other to collaborate on the best outcome.

After sitting down together and analysis the opening for Cabin as a
group we realised that we did not like it at all; which admittedly
was quite upsetting because of all the work gone into it. Before we
looked into beginning the research for Possession so we don’t
waste our time doing something we are not going to like. Therefore
we analysed the idea of Possession, enlightening us that it is much
of a Thriller opening, it is more of just a horror. After we all agreed
this we decided that it would be best to go back to the drawing
board and begin again. After this we decided that it would probably
be best for us to create a crime thriller as this is not in our opinion a
generic genre at the moment in the industry. So at the moment we
are going to find some nice influences for our idea, we like the idea
of masks, it’s just finding the right ones to create a distorted effect.
Then we will all go off and create our own storyboard for the new
idea then repeat the process of pitching our storyboards to
eachother and collaborating together for the best possible
outcome.
