3. Winston Churchill’s family
• Churchill married Clementine Hozier in 1908. They
had five children including four daughters and one
son named Diana, Randolph, Sarah, Marigold and
Mary. Of the five children, four were girls. Diana
was the oldest of the Churchill children, born in
1909, followed by Randolph, born 2 years later.
4. Winston Churchill’s Early Life
• Winston did not do well in school as a child. He also had
trouble getting into the Royal Military College. Although,
once in, he finished near the top of his class.
