Reference for Sajan Varghese
To whom it may concern
I have known Sajan Varghese over the past three years in my capacity as Campus Dean of JCU Singapore
(2011-2015), a fully owned entity of James Cook University Australia; where Sajan is currently completing a
Bachelor of Business and is due to graduate in April this year. I became aware of Sajan’s capabilities when he
was first introduced to me as a member of the Dean’s List for outstanding students with high GPA’s. Sajan
has been a highly credentialed student having been on the Dean’s List in each successive study period and
was also placed ‘number 1 in the world’ in the Bloomberg Aptitude Test – August 2015 and ranked number 2
in Singapore for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015.
Sajan has been an exemplary student who has been active in JCUS clubs and societies, he is actively involved
in all charity events organized by JCU including: SG50 walk with the PM of Singapore and 5000 elderly citizens
on June 7, 2015, volunteered for a medical camp with the Fullerton Group in April and as the President of
JCU Singapore Student Council (2014-2016) he was one of the initiators that helped raise over SGD 4500 for
Nepal earthquake victims from JCUS.
Not only does Sajan show skills in his academic and community capacities, he is also a natural leader who is a
CPA Australia Student Ambassador, represented JCUS at the 5th University Scholars Leadership Symposium,
2014 Ex-chair of the JCUS Accounting Club and heads the peer tutoring program at JCUS for Accounting and
Finance.
Above all Sajan Varghese is a young man who gives for the joy of giving and never seeks rewards or
recognition; he is generous and genuine, he comes with my highest recommendation!
Should you require any additional information I can be contacted at by phone or email.
Yours sincerely
