In order to maximize your potential for successfully obtaining employment you MUST BE FOCUSSED!!!
It is impossible to be focused without knowing what to focus on. You must know what kind of work you
can do, what kind of work you want to do, what issues need to be overcome, how to find the right
opportunities, and how to win the job offer against competitors that may be more qualified than you,
have more experience than you, and have better skill sets that you have. It is very possible to get chosen
over competitors that are "better candidates" than you are. You cannot do anything to change your
competitors and you certainly cannot substantially change your qualifications, experience, or skill sets in
the next 2 weeks or so. But there are still things you can do to get chosen over your competitors.
You must find ways to be more organized, better prepared, know the company (products, stock prices,
customers, competitors etc.), demonstrate your ability to research and solve problems, be a leader,
have the right body language, and ALLWAYS dress impeccably. These subjects are all covered in the set
of documents I have written on "getting the job". The first thing you must do is create a plan a game
plan that clearly identifies what you need to do to win the job even when you competitors have better
qualifications, experience, or skill sets.
NOTE: Dressing impeccably means dressing slightly more conservative than the people that are
interviewing you, wearing clothes that do not have a single wrinkle in them, are clean, and look brand
new. I always visit the company incognito before the interview to learn how people dress at the
company. Then I know what to wear to be slightly better dressed than the people I observed.

plan for successfully obtaining GREAT JOB!!!
