COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES:
2010 Successfully organized and coordinated a fundraising event for St. Baldrick’s Foundation with over
100 volunteers, over 1000 guests,and over$70,000 raised for childhood cancer research. May,
2010.
2011 Successfully organized and implemented the Inaugural Shave, Brave, Save event to raise funds for the
MACC Fund Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders and The Children’s Foundation. Also, to bring
awareness of childhood cancers and blood disorders.$25,000 raised. September 24, 2011.
2011 - Present Successfully organized The Giving Three, group of volunteers made up of doctors,nurses,
research scientists,staff, patients and families from the hematology, oncology,and bone marrow
transplant divisions of the MACC Fund Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. While the goal is to
raise money, the focus is on strengthening the bond between kids and families battling life
threatening diseases and their care providers.
