I am the Blood Drive coordinator. I contribute to monthly board meetings and collaborate with my fellow board
members on ways to bring policy and the ideals of the AMA to The Ohio State College of Medicine student body. I
also attended the 2016 American Medical Association National Conference in Chicago, Ill.
Beginner Ultrasound Training Fall 2015-Spring 2016
This program is provided to all Ohio State College of Medicine medical students in any stage in their medical
training. These monthly classes were run by students as well as physicians certified in the practice of ultrasound. At
the end of the program I completed a certification exam and was officially ultrasound certified.
Wexner Medical Center Catholic Ministry Fall 2015-present
I deliver Holy Communion on a bimonthly basis to patients at the Wexner Medical Center.
Women in Medicine Mentoring Program Columbus, OH Fall 2015-present
As a member of Women in Medicine, I am participating in the college student mentoring program. I have been
assigned three young women who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine. I serve as a resource for them,

Humanism in Medicine Spring 2016-present
The Humanism in Medicine Program at Ohio State focuses on ways to continue to create a more humanistic
environment in which to care for patients. One effort undertaken by the program is to also care for medical students. I
was on the mentorship committee. I was responsible for pairing first and second year medical students and fostering a
relationship between the classes to continue throughout the remainder of our medical training.
Community Health Project-St. Stephen’s Community House Columbus, OH Summer 2016
During the summer prior to my second year of medical school, four classmates and I partnered with St. Stephen’s
Community House in the Linden area. We recognized the high infant mortality rate in the Linden area in particular
and decided to offer five classes at St. Stephen’s, teaching young mothers in importance of proper child care. We
offered five classes throughout the summer taught by physicians and experts in the field of child care.
Boys and Girls Club of America South Bend, IN Fall 2011-2015
The Boys and Girls Club is an after-school mentoring program which offers children a safe place to learn, grow, and
have fun. On a weekly basis, I visit La Salle Elementary and work with children who come from less fortunate homes
and culturally diverse backgrounds.

Weekly meetings consist of discussions about our faith as well as our experiences as athletes. We service the
community through the Irish Experience League where we invite children from disadvantaged areas in the South

Interfaith Hospitality Network Gift Wrapping Florence, KY Winter 2009-present
Through the Interfaith Hospitality Network, volunteers from various faith backgrounds unite to raise money for the
homeless by doing community service. The week before Christmas each year,I wrap presents at the Florence Mall in
order to raise money for the network.

For 48 hours I was immersed in an urban setting during the University of Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns
