Shri Shrikant Pohankar gave this presentation at the STARS Forum 7th Annual Conference, where he introduced many interesting and innovative ways that farmers can bring down input costs, improve incomes, reduce wastage and damage to crops by stray animals. Wide adoption of these techniques will certainly make a huge difference to the farming community - which is constitutes majority of India's population.

6. METHOD OF APPLICATION
1.Ploughing after adding 50 kg / acre.
2.Adding 15 kg /acre to soil when the crop becomes
15 days old.
3.Addition @ 15kg/acre at 15 days interval till
harvesting.
4.For Horticultural crops – 15kg/acre at 15 days
interval through Drip or Ring method.
5.As an insecticide - Add 5 gms/lit of water & spray.
6.As a weedicide – Add 15 gms/lit of water & spray.

91. METHODOLOGY
1. Collect seeds from completely dried pods.
2. Remove the thin white membrane.
3. Grind the seeds to make a fine powder.
4. Powder of 2 seeds per lit of water is required
if the water is too muddy, and powder of 1
seed for 4 lit of water is enough if the water is
not very bad.
5. Add the powder in water and allow it to
remain stable for one hour.
6. Filter the water with the help of a clean cloth
and what you get isPurest water in the world
approved by FAO.
