4. Querying the SAP database is not trivial due to
many reasons. First of all, standard SQL tools
cannot be used to access the database of an SAP
system because of the strict license agreement of
SAP.
You have to use the SAP development workbench to
either write custom programs to read the database
and provide a list output or you can use the
standard reporting tools of SAP (SAP Query and
QuickViewer) that lack advanced features like nested
subqueries and group functions.
