13. Cost Reduction Measures
Shorter roof span-
Service core of two adjacent units are combined
Reduced ceiling height for WC;
RBC roofing in place of conventional RCC roofing;
Walls plastered on one side (external) only
Rammed earth filled mud gobar laped flooring;
Can be replaced by the house owner with a suitable floor finish at a later
stage
Brick Jali work in place of regular windows.
