21) The World Health Organisation has selected Dr. Kalpana Balakrishnan to serve as one of the

Speech and Hearing Association Conference on 20th January 2007.

2) Dr. G. Moorthy, Assistant Professor won the Best Paper Award – ‘Laproscopic Management of
Ovarian pathology in children’, CCPS Meet of Chennai City Pediatric Surgeons, Chennai in
April 2010.
3) Dr. G. Moorthy, Assistant Professor won the Best Poster Award for ‘Long term results of
Gastrocystoplasty’ at the World Congress of Pediatric Surgeons, New Delhi in October 2010.

5) “Predicting grade of prostate cancer using image analysis soft ware” - by Dr. Sandhya

Sciences and Computing” 2010, Chennai.
