INTRODUCTION

The first year experience at the University can be exciting and also challenging
due to the different methods of study, new responsibilities and expectations.
We have collected and gathered all the data mainly based on the population of
students in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Actually, we collected
about 90 data on female and male randomly distributed among their courses and
their years of studying. We also break the category of CGPA to 2.0-2.5, 2.6-3.0.
3.1-3.4 and 3.5 and above based on an excellent level.
We actually divided the data into category of hours studying per day:
a) Low hours of study - less than 3 hours
b) Moderate hours of study - 3 to 5 hours
c) High hours of study - 5 to 8 hours
d) Too High hours of study - 10 and above hours

METHOD OF PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS
 We divide the group of students into 4
categories who get experienced in their first
year.
 Firstly, Too High who study 8 and above
hours.
 Secondly, High who study 5-8 hours.
 Third, Moderate who study 3-5hours.
 Fourth, Low who study below 3 hours.

 The modal class is in the range of 3.1 –3.4.
 For CGPA range of 2.1 –2.5 ,2.6 –3.0 and 3.5-
3.9 there are no student.
 The mean CGPA for the TOO HIGH category
is 3.3.
 The histogram said the data is neutral.

3.21.
 The histogram said the data is left-skewed.

METHOD FULL SCALE ANALYSIS
 According to the method preliminary analysis,
the bar graph is used to show the data that has
been analyzed.
 We can say that our hypothesis which is the
better you study, the better your CGPA is
proven. The first category, low study, showed a
mean CGPA of 3.21, the second category,
moderate, showed a mean CGPA of 3.14, the
third and fourth category, high and very high
respectively showed a mean CGPA of 3.3.
However, some students can still score very
high if they had low amount of studying.

CONCLUSION
 At the ending session, our initial hypothesis shows
that the results we gained that who give the highest
times for studying can earn more CGPA.
 We can see that from the result some students can’t
make the highest score to earn because of their low
hours of studying.
 Moderate CGPA students get less experienced than
High CGPA students also Too High level CGPA
students.
 In conclusion, we are expecting that they get
experienced based on their CGPA what they used
time to study.

  • 4. INTRODUCTION 4 The first year experience at the University can be exciting and also challenging due to the different methods of study, new responsibilities and expectations. We have collected and gathered all the data mainly based on the population of students in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Actually, we collected about 90 data on female and male randomly distributed among their courses and their years of studying. We also break the category of CGPA to 2.0-2.5, 2.6-3.0. 3.1-3.4 and 3.5 and above based on an excellent level. We actually divided the data into category of hours studying per day: a) Low hours of study - less than 3 hours b) Moderate hours of study - 3 to 5 hours c) High hours of study - 5 to 8 hours d) Too High hours of study - 10 and above hours 5/6/2016© 2016 S M RAJU ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

METHOD OF PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS  We divide the group of students into 4 categories who get experienced in their first year.  Firstly, Too High who study 8 and above hours.  Secondly, High who study 5-8 hours.  Third, Moderate who study 3-5hours.  Fourth, Low who study below 3 hours. 5 5/6/2016© 2016 S M RAJU ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

METHOD FULL SCALE ANALYSIS  According to the method preliminary analysis, the bar graph is used to show the data that has been analyzed.  We can say that our hypothesis which is the better you study, the better your CGPA is proven. The first category, low study, showed a mean CGPA of 3.21, the second category, moderate, showed a mean CGPA of 3.14, the third and fourth category, high and very high respectively showed a mean CGPA of 3.3. CONCLUSION  At the ending session, our initial hypothesis shows that the results we gained that who give the highest times for studying can earn more CGPA.  We can see that from the result some students can’t make the highest score to earn because of their low hours of studying.  Moderate CGPA students get less experienced than High CGPA students also Too High level CGPA students.  In conclusion, we are expecting that they get experienced based on their CGPA what they used time to study. 15 5/6/2016© 2016 S M RAJU ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
