SMILE has been developed to drive retail repairs back into your repair
network through added value protection products and a customer loyalty
programme.
SMILE can only be accessed via NIBS Distributors.
SMILE is administered and managed by Virtual Insurance Products and
delivered in partnership with the NIBS Group.
3. What does SMILE offer
• Smile Web Portal - A web enabled link that sits on your website;
- The platform offers a range of insurance products to your customer’s that can be
purchased at their convenience;
- Products including Single Excess cover, multi Excess cover for vehicles in the same
household and Breakdown.
• Key Repatriation – SMILE provides a key repatriation service that markets your
contact details.
• VIP Rewards – SMILE supports motorist and provides a Rewards scheme full of
discounts and vouchers to over 800 high street stores.
• Excess Guarantee – Waive your customers Excess following a fault claim.
4. Smile Web Portal
• SMILE provides you with an opportunity to offer a range of insurance
products via a secure online website.
• All administration is completed by Virtual Insurance Products Limited.
• Customers can obtain quotations, complete an application and pay via a
secure online facility.
• Commissions are paid to you on each policy sold and renewed.
• In respect of Excess Insurance products when a claim occurs we use best
endeavours to direct repair work back to your business.
7. Key Repatriation
• In partnership with the UK’s leading key repatriation business we
deliver a unique key repatriation service to your customers;
• All customers who you invite to the scheme will receive a branded
key fob together with your contact details for use in the event of an
incident;
• All Key fobs have to be registered to activate the repatriation service
and customers are directed to do this via your SMILE Web portal;
• The key fob will activate a login to your rewards programme should
you wish to offer these discounts and benefits to your customers.
• We will supply your customer data back to you for additional
marketing
12. Rewards
• SMILE offers you a unique Rewards platform via a web link
• The Rewards programme provides discounts and vouchers to over 800
household and high street names
• Rewards builds on a wealth of experience of providing genuinely
competitive lifestyle products and services from some of the countries
leading companies. Rewards is accessed via your website promoting your
brand - Repetition Builds Reputation!
• As part of the programme a monthly newsletter will be sent to all
customers detailing the best offers.

17. Costs Costs
SMILE set up costs:-
– On line system: £319.00 (one off charge)
– Rewards initial set up: £499.00 (annual renewal £199)
– Key Fob branded: £0.97p per fob
minimum order per month is 60.
– Key fob is for a minimum period of 12 months and should be given to
all customers to maximise impact.
18. Excess Guarantee
• Innovative offering to your customers designed to drive work back in to
your repair centres.
• This is an Excess Guarantee you are selling not insurance and therefore
this falls outside the scope of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
• Your Guarantee can only be redeemed when returning to your repair
network.
• To protect your obligations we provide an Insurance policy in your name
to protect you against each Excess Guarantee that is claimed.
• Upon completion of repair you claim against the insurance policy and
payment is made by BACS direct to your bank account.
• Your Guarantee can be sold through sales, service and body shop, as
every customer will benefit from this product.
19. Why sell Excess Guarantee
• It drives repair work back to your business.
• Motor Excess levels have risen to an average of £500
• Consumers looking to purchase cheaper car insurance often do not
appreciate the various excess costs they will incur in the event of a claim.
• Insurers are increasing customers excess if they don’t use a nominated
repairer.
• Remember the Guarantee won’t work if the customers takes their vehicle
to any other repairer.
• There is no cost in setting up the Guarantee. Marketing material is
available.

22. Next Steps
To apply for SMILE-
• You will need to complete an agency application, we will email you a
link to do this on line;
• You will asked to upload a JPEG of your company logo for the Key
Fob design, a proof will be sent to you for sign off;
• Set up costs can be paid by credit card or direct debit if required.
Direct Debit will be collected by our partner NIBS Group.
