2. Sad Waste Lunch Box
Rooms 17 had a Lunch Box Audit to see if we could
improve our packaging of food, so we could reduce
rubbish going to the landfill. Some had good
wrappings and some had bad. The sad lunch boxes had
lots of plastic and tin foil. These wrappings can not be
recycled and go into the landfill. Glad wrap can keep
food fresh BUT does not decompose!

4. Happy Lunch Box
We have some great suggestions about how to have
Zero Waste in your lunch box.
 Use reusable containers
 Use paper lunch wrap
 Buy big packets of food and repackage into small
reusable containers instead having lots of little
packets of food.
 Make your own food like biscuits and bars.
