3. Wash hands before eating.
Keep your elbows off the table.
Always place your napkin on your lap prior before
start eating.
4. Wipe your mouth with napkin when necessary.
Wait to begin eating until everyone is seated at the
table and has been served their meal.
Don’t talk with food in your mouth.
5. Please chew the food with your mouth closed.
No burping and chewing noises.
Say excuse me if u burp.
6. Don’t swallow the food. Chew and eat.
If you need something, don’t reach across the table
for it. Ask the nearest person to pass it.
Always Say thanks you when someone passes the
food to you.
7. Avoid using cell phones while eating.
If you need to get up during the meal, politely ask
to be excused and return to the table as quickly as
possible.
8. Take the food on your fork or spoon up to your
mouth. Not your mouth down to the fork or spoon.
Eating over the plate helps in case there is a little
spill.
Do not take more than you can eat.
Don’t pick up the food with your hands if you can
use fork and spoon.
9. Don’t slurp food or drinks.
Try to use both your fork and knife and while
cutting your food, doing your best to keep your
elbows close to your side.
10. In between eating, rest your fork and knife on the
plate in and upside down “V.”
When you are done with your meal, place your fork
and knife on the plate to the right side with blade
in and fork in the upward position and you are
ready for dessert!
Stay at the table until finished.
Don’t play with cutlery in the table.
Never say bad things about the food.
