SUMMARY
· My experience in higher education includes 15 years of teaching in 2-year and 4-year interior design
programs and administrative experience. As department head, I hired and supervised full-time and
adjunct faculty, developed curriculum, advised students, and served as faculty advisor for the student
chapter of ASID. In addition, I coordinated study abroad trips to London, Paris, Italy and Greece as
well as regional trips to architectural sites and museums. Professional practice includes managing
budgets and providing design services for healthcare, financial institutions, commercial and residential
projects. Recent research focused on student resilience, academic success and retention.
