A story longer then 100 years with four generations of Family Mastromauro
HISTORY
• It was 1902, when young man called Leonardo, came back to Italy after some
years of migration in USA.
• Leonardo grounded his first plant of pasta production, the «Leonardo
Mastromauro & Figli» company.
• The first plant was in down town in Corato, in Apulia region, the durum
wheat region.
• The plant was likely an artisanal lab, which produced 3 tons per day.

HISTORY
• In 1951 as Leonardo’s sons joined him in business, a new plan
was built with introduction of first production lines
• Production increased to 10 tons per days.
• It was at this time that the company name was changed in
«Riscossa» which means «revenge» or rebirth, as the big wish
of everybody after the second war.

HISTORY
• In earlys 80’s a new generation of Family Mastromauro joined the
leadership of the company: Leonardo Junior (actual President),
Giuseppe, Alberto and Mariantonietta.
• A new plant was built, the actual one
• The company reached 8 production lines
• Production capability achieved 100.000 tons per year
• Total shapes become more than 100

TODAY
• Since the end of 90’s
the company made new investment
• The fourth generation:
Nunzio, Margherita and Fabio
jointed the company.
• Following the innovation attention
always present in the leadership,
also this generation gave his imprinting
to the company building:
• new sylos (still in process)
• 8 new package machineries
• And new pallettizers
