Founded by Ernest Adams in 1994,
previously named the Computer
Game Developers Association
Game Developers had no one to
speak for them in the debates taking
place in the U.S Congress
The community needed a way to
share experience and work together
on issues on an ongoing basis.

The world’s largest membership association for game developers
Mission is to make game development a sustainable, fulfilling career for
anyone with the desire to pursue it.
Chapters on six continents and Special Interest Groups dedicated to
supporting game developers at every stage of their career.
Allows game developers to contribute to their community, boost their
career, and make a lasting impact on their profession.

Lifetime Membership – US $1000 (Recognition at IGDA MVP Events)
Hardship/Emerging Market – US $30 annually
Emerging Markets – Countries where there are 500 or less professional game
developers

Joining IGDA Studio Affiliate will give your employees immediate access to
