Work Experience
Hounds for Heroes (Easter 2015)
- Volunteering, helping the team and updating fixed asset spreadsheets. Displaying good team
work skills as well as a proficient use of excel.
Lamb Brooks LLP (2013-2015)
- One weeks work experience at Lamb Brooks Solicitors in the summer of 2013.
- Paid work in the summer of 2014 & 15, at Lamb Brooks Solicitors.
- Working in the conveyancing department, and meeting clients for identification,
documentation signing and potential queries.
- Representing the firms’ interests in front of banks, clients, estate agents, solicitors etc...
- Valuable experience of working in a team and work place mannerisms gained.
Tiger Tiger (Summer 2014)
- Part time work for Tiger Tiger, selling tickets for A-Levels results night.
- Interacted directly with members of the public, enhancing people and selling skills.
Fareham Borough Council (2012-2014)
- Via my position as President of the Fareham Youth Council I was able to shadow Fareham
Boroughs executive councillors.
- Having been elected as the President of the Fareham Borough Youth Council (FYC) in
2013 for a term and a member for two and a half years, helping the community and voicing
the concerns and interests of young people, to those in positions of interest, often in the form
of executive councillors and our local MP on occasions.
- An experience further augmenting team work, management, organisation and orating skills.
Interests
- Have and is currently writing articles for the University Newspaper, engaging in important
local and global issues, consequently introducing important debate on campus.
- Member of my local Conservative Association in Fareham from the age of 14.
- Regularly canvassing with my local MP, engaging in council elections, the European
election in 2014 and actively campaigned in the 2015 General Election.
- Rugby 2ndXV captain, Cricket 1stXI at school. Cricket at the LSE.
- Currently learning French as a second language, via an outside course at university.
- Model United Nations society for 2 years at Sixth-Form, receiving oratory awards.
