4. Additional information
4.1) Community Service
During my Grade 12 year, I served as a teacher at the children’s service at my church. I’m currently
teaching Sunday school for Gr. 5’s at the church.
At the university, I took part in the hostel’s Student RAG Community Service project – Bert’s Bricks
Primary school. This is small needy school on the out skirts of Potchefstroom. Some of the work we
did there included leadership development, taking class photos, sport development; horse therapy for
the special needs class and simply playing with the kids. I took the class photos and it was an
extremely rewarding experience, since these kids doesn’t own hard copy photos of themselves.
4.2) Extra mural activities
Ballet
I took part in the Hartebeestpoort arts festival in 2003 – 2007.
In 2007 and 2009, I was awarded as dancer of the year.
I have won awards for stage personality.
I have completed the D.A.S.A examinations up to Advanced.

4.4) About me
I am very hardworking and take exceptional pride in my work. I believe that the only way to feel part of
your environment is to take part in everything that it has to offer. This is why I took part in as many
activities possible when I went to high school and university. I am an organized person who will go the
extra mile to ensure that the job is done perfectly. I am an only child of two teachers, and spending
time with the people I love is something that is important to me. Quitting is never an option, I believe in
finishing whatever I have started no matter what.
