LINDA*The weather is conduciveforbaby making hunn... It's so romantic and arousing...(she sighs
romantically and looks into her teacher 's eyes sending a message that said let's do it again)

Mr Mhuka is aged 24 and has been teaching Physics and Biology at Highglen NoveCollege forthe

He continues his lesson joyfully unawareof the sensitive adult movie that was contained in the
device he was using in his lesson.

Lisa takes the camera and by coincidence mistakenly presses a button that displayed the videos in
the camera. As the only 4 hour long home made adult movie automatically played, Lisa could not
believe her eyes. How come the handsome actor witha vibrant six packappears to be her teacher-

Lisa quickly gets backto the present situation due to the shouts fromthe other students who had
already concluded that this little ghetto lady was just glued watching the camera still trying to
figure out how to operate it. Little did they know she had seen a mystery, it appeared to her like
she had been dreaming or had just come out of Fantasy Worldor Stir Kineko cinemas from which
she had been watching a terrible horror movie whichfrightened her. She stood there glued to the
spot like a scarecrow in a maize field. No one knowsthe millions of questions running on her mind.
Lisa suddenly feels her strength being sapped away and blow like a candle in the wind. She feels
her pulse rate dramatically increasing, it seems like a sharp blade is about to be pushed into her
lungs. The other students notice the pale on her face,they stop their mocking chants as they see the
camera falling down as if from the hand of a war journalist who has suddenly taken a ruthless bullet
straight to the heart. Tanaka whowas standing nearby dives in a movie fashion to save his camera
in sync with his teacher, Mr MHUKA who was howeversaving his own camera in the form of Lisa.
That is how the lesson ends. The college medic is called and Lisa is quickly taken to the college
clinic. Tanaka fakes a headache and acquires a pass from the college principal, Prof.Msindo, and
goes home all in the effortof saving his camera but more importantly the video in the device that
had turned the fun filled form three class turn it's air into a tense atmosphere after Lisa had
witnessed the video and collapsed.
Ngrrr Ngrrr.... Phone rings***
Mai Lisa *helo doctorhow is my child am almost there.?
Doc*she is doing fine madam, calm down.She only needs bed rest, at least for now.I called to tell

Linda doesn't know her teacher-cum-loveris cheating on her with her best friend. She is that kind
of a college girl who thinks she has all the swagg and style, she commands a huge followingof fans
at the college since she is the president of the college students entertainment association (csea)
whose patron is the loverboy teacher, Mr MHUKA whom she shares with her best friend from the
ghetto, Lisa. Linda lives with her parents ' house maid at their family premises in Borrowdale Brook
since the parents live in the diaspora. She drives to and from the college every day unless during
days when she feels like traveling by public transport. She is the only child of Mr & Mrs Landa who
left forUkraine because of their professions. Linda has grown wild because of the absence of her
parents to guide her in these years of her teen life. She goes out clubbing whenever she feels like
unlike her best friend Lisa (the Mabvukugirl) whohas to first flatter & charm her mom to inorder
to kill any suspicions that may try to hinder her.
Unlike Linda, Lisa was forced into mischief by peer pressure. She was once a well reserved girl
aienda kuScripture Union(SU) when she was still learning at Mabvuku High back in the dusty
streets of the ghetto. When her mother transfered her to this so called uptown Highglen Nove
College in town, that's when she tried by hook or crookmeans to fit in like a jig saw puzzle into the
uptown trend of lifestyle at the college whichhad a large proportion of students of the mixed race
(coloureds)from the elite suburbs of Harare. Since she came here, she has since started smoking
marijuana (mbanje), taking broncleer (bronko),heroine and other booze. They occasionally hold
sex parties at secret hired venues in the suburbs surrounding the college. Lisa's mother is the dark
and knowsabsolutely nothing about this new lifestyle her daughter has been exposed to, and since
adopted it and blended in smoothly.
Mr MHUKA, (Donald Donny Mhuka) was born in the remote dry regions of the Chibi district, he
never knew his father since he was born an illegitimate son, when his mother found out she was
pregnant with Donald, she told her so called boyfriend backthen (Donald 's father) whodenied
responsibility overthe pregnancy and revealed he was a happily married man with four lovely
children. Donald' s mother then went backto Chibi where she was born. She lived alone at her late
parents ' dilapidated rural home. She survived on begging and doing menial workfor people who
had a few cowsand chickens. Donald finally got a government science scholarship whichsaw him
being taken out of the poverty stricken village and got educated in Cuba. After he graduated he
came back to Zimbabwe and was lucky to secure a teaching job at this elite college whichpayed him
close to $4 000 a term. (he never discloses his salary to anyone, only God knows how much he
earns) He turned into a modern day prodigal son ever since he got the exposure to a better life, he

never visited his poor mother. He has made people to believe he was raised at an orphanage and
never knew his family.His mother, by God's grace is still surviving on a single meal every two days,
back in the rural Chibi of Masvingo.
Tanaka is a naughty and smart form 3 student whoholds a grudge whichhas potential to turn into a
vendetta with Lisa. He got angered by her when she came as a new comer at the college and she
somehow contributed towards the breakup of Tanaka and his girlfriend. Lisa had told Tanaka 's
girlfriend (whowas Linda at that time) that Tanaka was dating cougars (sugar mummies) fromthe
avenues area. Eversince, Linda has not even talked to Tanaka and that's how she became Lisa' s
closest friend. Tanaka howeverhas come up with this videoidea to denigrate Lisa 's personality and
status and possibly revenge forheartache he had to suffer after she caused him and his former
girlfriend to part ways.
