I've been working to build audiences and
foster online communities for the past 3
years. I've looked after accounts across
Events, Music, Hospitality, IT and Media
industries. My latest contract was for Piknic
Electronik Melbourne. I was able to build an
audience to over 18,000 'likes' on Facebook
and 1700 followers on Instagram. This meant
an average of 1,000 new likes per week
during the 2016 summer season, and most
importantly a strong returning customer base
week after week. Most of these events met
maximum capacity of 3,000.
I take a broad view of Community Manage-
ment and Digital Marketing. I'd describe
myself as a combination of a 'jack of all
trades' Content Producer, aspiring big-data
scientist (with an obsession with testing and
statistics) and a talk-show host (always
finding ways to boost ratings).
My practice is about connecting real-world
technical skills with quality design thinking, to
execute 'big ideas' that create inclusive and
engaging online environments.
Piknic Electronik Melbourne. 2014 - 2016
(Community Management)
I was able to achieve a sold out season of
Piknic Electronik Melbourne by applying my
general skill set around video, music, photog-
raphy, Adobe Suite and Copywriting in an
integrated marketing strategy. Our goal was
to disrupt the local events market, which we
successfully achieved.
We produced more than 60 videos-for-web in
the season, all with very fast turn around (on
the day) to maximize audience engagement.
The videos had an average of 2,000 views.
I also executed an Editorial Marketing
campaign as part of the general strategy. This
lead to partnerships with online platforms like
Vice, Timeout, Broadsheet, Vulture, Beat and
more.

I am a member of local Events Management
agency ‘Stable Music’. We are responsible for
activations such as Where?house (MMW
2012), Kubik Melbourne (2011) and Redbull
Music Academy (2011).
The Mercat Cross Hotel. 2015
(Community Management)
In mid 2015, the Mercat Cross Hotel
engaged me in a 6 month contract to manage
their online community of dance music
promoters.
I researched a diverse range of audience
groups, and was able to grow the audience
from 5,000 likes to over 8,000.
Freelance Copywriter. 2015 - 2016
Capital Letters Co.
I launched a freelance copywriting service in
early 2015 called ‘Capital Letters Co’. I’ve
helped small business and start-ups develop
the online voice of their brands and execute
content strategies.
