This document summarizes a presentation given by Robin Seijdel of StrateGis at the Geodesign Summit Europe on September 19-20, 2013 in Herwijnen, Netherlands. StrateGis uses geodesign to support urban development planning through their 3D modeling tool called the Urban Developer. The tool allows users to (1) build 3D models from GIS data, (2) learn from the model by analyzing data, (3) transform the model by applying measures, (4) optimize financially and spatially, and (5) report results. StrateGis has used this approach on over 100 projects including large developments in Almere and redevelopment plans for the Port of Rotterdam
