New Construction and retrofitting a Water Treatment Plant, job tasks included rigging and bolt up
and fabrication of Stainless Steel pipe spools from 2” to 20”, rigging and bolt up of valves
(butterfly, check,and PRV),building pipe supports and installing hangers, installing pumps,
threading of 2” Stainless Steel, and driving a forklift to assist with rigging and manoeuver piping

Job Tasks include but not limited to cutting and stacking products as well as utilizing forklifts to
replenish products into machines and deliver cut products to other portions of the facility. Have to

Pipefitter (Student Work Term), Irving Shipbuilding Inc, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The specific job task was to assist journeymen pipefitters on current retrofit projects taking place
upon Canadian Navy Vessels. Specific tasks would include measuring and calculating pipe
lengths; grinding, filing, and cutting pipe, brazing copper pipe and brass fittings, installing and

From 2010-2011. Appointed to the Discipline Committee which determined the outcomes of
students who had performed serious or multiple offenses against the Community Code of St
FX University.
St. FX University X-Change Committee
From 2009-2011. Member of a group of male student leaders who promoted the awareness of
violence against women and dating violence on campus and within the community.
St. FX University Frosh Week Orientation Committee
Participated in 2008. Member of the Orientation Committee responsible for welcoming and
facilitating events for the first year students coming to campus.
