been repeatedly featured in the Sun
Sentinel, Robert Baldwin has served as an
assistant city manager for various Florida
communities, including Fort Lauderdale and
the City of Hollywood. Robert Baldwin has
since become the city manager of Dania
Beach, Florida, where he supervises the
budget, various city departments, and city
development efforts.
3. Among its many initiatives, Dania Beach
maintains a Dania Beach Enterprise Zone to
stimulate growth and provide financial
incentives in local areas experiencing
economic difficulties. The city offers funding
assistance, tax credits, and additional
incentives to companies that are located in
or willing to relocate to the Dania Beach
Enterprise Zone. Established in 2006, the
Enterprise Zone encompasses more than 6
square miles in two designated parts of the
city.
4. Businesses in these areas could be
eligible to benefit from tax credits on
various taxes, such as corporate income
tax, ad valorem property tax, and state
sales tax.
