Réjer Finklin is a PhD candidate in Education Administration and Policy at the University of Georgia. He has over 15 years of experience in education, including as a secondary social studies teacher and testing coordinator. He is currently a part-time instructor at Georgia State University Perimeter College, where he teaches a first year experience seminar course. His research interests include rural education, recruitment and retention of teachers of color, and the role of access institutions in higher education.
