VSR units are ideal for dual battery set-ups as they enable two batteries to be charged at the same time and then isolates the batteries from each other when the vehicle is turned off, ensuring your starting battery is always charged & ready to go. Single Sense: VSR units can only turn ON / OFF according to the Main Battery Voltage. VSR units turn ON (close circuit) when Main Battery Voltage is greater than 13.3V. Dual Sense: VSR units can turn ON / OFF according to both Main Battery and Auxiliary Battery Voltages. VSR units turn ON (close circuit) when EITHER Main Battery Voltage OR Auxiliary Battery Voltage is greater than 13.3V.
