• With more than 20 years of experience in the home building industry, Richard Schwartz
formerly served as division president of DR Horton in Charlotte, NC. He now holds the
position of president and COO of Hilton Head Island, SC-based Village Park Homes, which
has taken over management of Synergy Homes in Savannah, GA. In his free time, Richard
Schwartz enjoys watching the Charlotte Hornets basketball team, which has signed Dwayne
Bacon.
A 6-foot-7 shooting guard and small forward from Lakeland, Florida, Dwayne Bacon played
two years for Florida State University before deciding to enter the NBA draft. During the
2016-17 season, he earned a spot on the 2016-17 All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference)
second team after averaging 17.2 points, 1.7 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game. He also led
the team in the number of field goals, with 221 and 57 three-point field goals.
Bacon competed with the Hornets in the 2017 Mountain Dew Orlando Pro Summer
League. He not only led the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game, but also scored 29.2
points in the Hornets’ final game against the Orlando Magic, which marked the highest
points per game of all the Hornets’ players during their five summer games.
