4. Accounting:
Accounting is the measurement, processing, and communication of financial
information about economic entities such as business and corporation.
Accounting is the process of recording and summarizing financial information in a
useful way.

5. Finance:
Finance means having to do with money: the finance department deals with the
organization’s spending and receipts. For example, obtaining financial information
from different departments.

6. Human Resource:
It is a department that deals with employees. For example, taking on a new
employees, training employees, keeping record of old and present employees etc.

7. Marketing:
The marketing department deals with publicity and finding out about customer's
needs. They also promote products, for example: sending out questionnaires to
customers.

8. Sale:
The sales department deals with selling of products or services. Sale includes direct
interaction with customer service.

9. Customer Service:
The customer service deals with customer’s information, service and advice. It also
deals with queries, complaints, providing after-sale services in the form of technical
help or organization replacement of items. Large businesses may have a customer
helpline or/ and a website.

10. Management Information Systems
Management Information Systems (MIS) is the study of people, technology, organizations and the
relationships among them. MIS professionals help firms realize maximum benefit from investment
in personnel, equipment, and business processes. MIS is a people-oriented field with an emphasis
on service through technology. If you have an interest in technology and have the desire to use
technology to improve people’s lives, a degree in MIS may be for you.

11. Research and development:
In today’s competitive world it is very essential to be ahead of competitors. Business
organizations strive to introduce new products, new concepts and innovations.
Research and development department works to this goal.
