this is my 9 key frame analysis

2. Frame one shows an extreme close up of a book and displays the
production company involved in creating the film. This frame is dark
and gloomy which could suggest the theme of the narrative having
elements of mystery and evil.This frame also creates enigma as the
background is faded and only the foreground is of clear veiw to the
audience making the audience speculate on the item in the
background.

3. This frame is completely black which is good as it
contrast the white font. The appearance of name
of the main lead star is used to sustain the
audiences interest wanting them to furthermore
veiw the film in order to catch a glimpse of this
actor.The actor is Brad Pitt who is renouned for his
various action scenes due to this association with
the actor the audience may create
expectations.The rapid transitions suggest that the
film will be dramatic and jumpy.

4. In this frame the title of the film is presented .The font has been
specifically edited to create a glow effect making it distinct and easy
for the audience to see,in addition to this the glow suggest an
element of hope within a world of darkness the unconventional
approach of having 7 within the text suggest that its some sort of
code used which may suggest a spy-based plot .In this frame we see
a hand which has a plaster this concept introduces the theme of
violence which the audience instantly associate with the thriller genre.

see with detail the speed and confidence the character is
writing at .The fact that this frame has been edited so that
the audience has bouble vision sugggest that the movie can
be misleading and confusing.

good as the veiwer can get a glipse of the messy
state the character's desk is in which may portray
the character as disorganised .The diliberate use
of ingoring composition means that there is no
direct subject of the frame forcing the audienec to
focus more which furthermore sustains and
interest them this is also done by how the writing
on the paper is of an unknown language .

through a scalp this use of violence jusifies that the genre

gives the impression of a crime based thriller as these are
associated with investigations.

compliation which could be used as crime evidence.

extreme close up could also explain the characters specific class as perhaps suggest the
wealth of the character as the character freely destroys the value of money.This may
symbolise corruption which may be a reoccoring them in the film.The Character cuts the
word God.This blashemous act may symbolise rebellion,sin and evil desires. The being of

impression on the films geographical location.This frame gives
the impression that the film is misleading as the image gives an
impression of beauty and awe which doent sync with the music
choice.

13. This birdseye veiw shot shows how the car is in a forrest destitation .
This choice of setting is effective as it shows the car as isolation
from society.In Addition to this this the fact that there are no hints of
civilisation means that the car has gone on the journey and perhaps
the characters will be intreoduced at the destination.

14. The font which shows the creator of the
production, is light blue which is associated with
winter ,this as well as the snow may suggest the
season of the film. The long shot is also effctive as
it portrays the car on the edge of a cliff which may
make the veiwer anxious.

15. This Track- in movement gives us an image
of the car which is of an older generation .This
may suggest the wealth of the driver or the
period in time the film is set.The fact that the
camera overtakes the car may suggest that
the driver is inferior and may be victimised in
the future.

16. This frame shows the film title the bue reselmbes the title as it shines.The fact that all
text is edited in a way that it scrolles down is effective as the reader can easily veiw it.
This extreme long shot used shows the hills and forrest and implies that the car ,who we
suggest has the main character in it ,is in the middle of nowhere, this absence of
civilisation may suggest that such support from police and medical services wont be
present for this reason the charcter may be portrayed as trapped.

17. This frame has the car to the side of the frame so the audience
can veiw the magnificent scenery and veiws.we can also see
the trees in a downhill position which may suggest that the car
is gaining in height and perhaps climbing the hill. This journey
is altitude the car is going through matches the music as it
intensifies the company's text is of a larger font as it it of a
larger importance.

18. This frame changes the tone as now we can feel the characters cold
atmospehere. The snow contrast the Car as the car is completely incompatible
with the climate meaning that the character is moving into dangerous territory is
completely unsuitable and out of his/her comfort zone

19. This frame is another extreme longshot as it includes large features such as a mountain.
The camera movement gets closer and closer to the mysteriously shaped house which is
literally in the isolated in itself the house itself in not very distrinct as its dull grey colour blends
in with is surrondings.The fact that ther are no clouds visible in the frame and near the house
suggest something is'nt quite right about this location.

many cars in the parking space which may suggest that the
house is used as somesort of hotel or accomodation.

eyes.This generates adrenaline and causes the veiwer to be on
their edge of their seat
The colour yellow is as it reflects car headlines ,a good use of
iconography to tell the reader that car will be the focus point on the
narrative
The background also shows city lights to confilm the location which
is city.

25. This frame shows the cormers getting darker which furthermore exaggerates the
darkness within nightime. This time of day may suggest an increase of danger or
risk.the text is put on the side unlike the main film title as its of a lesser significance as
it may not intend to maximise audience attention.

26. This shot is effective as the extreme close up creates enigma as the
audience fails to verify the character .The eye level angle is
effective as the veiwer feels connected to the characters state of
focus the dark corners of the frame may suggest that the character
is surrounded by evil.

27. Another form of low key lighting used is this frame. The
combination of both these colours implies that the nattarive
may be police/crime based .The use of these two vibrant
colours with the low key lighting could suggets that the
character is a criminal.unlike the red light to show as the
character exposed this light suggest the character is in hiding

28. The background is blurred to create suspense. The theme
of crime is furthermore explored in this frame as the
primary colours used are red and blu. This shot also
explores pathetic fallecy as the raindrops alters our
perceptions so that we may think the mood and tone of the
narrative may be cold and gloomy.The film editors are

the character being transported in fast speeds .The slowed pace of the
frame and blurred image may suggest that the character has consumed
drugs like alcahol.The fact that the primary colours in the frame is red
and blue and appear everywhere suggest that crime is everywhere.

the theme of crime is furthermore explored by the red and blue colours.The amount of
people suggest that there could be an event taking place or the coincidence of a busy
