document is, if it's not carefully written as
how you, as the writer would like to
present it to your readers, your purpose
will not be serve wisely.

choose the appropriate language to
be used and to regard to the
objective of the writing, the context
in witch was written and the target
audience in mind.
5. Five (5) major issues with
appropriate language that
should be avoided in an
effective and well-written text
6. 1. The formality of the language one
uses should be depend on how
formal situation is and how the
writter and the reader are related to
one another.
7. 2. Jargons or specialized language
used by groups of individuals in the
same field should only be used if the
target readers belong to the same
group.
8. 3. Slangs and idioms should be avoided.

9. 4. Euphemisms or words that veil the
truth shall also be avoided.

* He's big boned - He's fat.
* She's getting on - She's old.
10. 5. Avoid using any biased
language including those
associated with any racial,
ethnic, group, or gender.
