Millions of applicants take the Bank PO exam each year. Since its debut in 2011, IBPS PO has come to represent bank PO. Any of the 20 public sector banks can offer a Bank PO career after passing this exam. The exam is administered by IBPS, as suggested by the name (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). Candidates who show up for the exam and are selected for further consideration are then invited to a Common Interview, which is held by the participating banks and organised by IBPS.
