acquisition. Another step towards the convergence of the endpoint security and information protection markets has been the recent
acquisition of Utimaco by Sophos.


IBM's presence in any technology market cannot be taken lightly. This is clearly the case in the information protection market, where it
is a fairly new entrant and has a small market share, but already commands the highest end-user sentiment rating of any vendor.
