11. To avoid getting hurt or harmed by animals, remember the
following measures in handling them:
1. Do not think animals as playthings. This is true especially for
those animals who were not raised as pets. Do not go near
animals that are not tamed.
2. Treat all animals well. These include even your pets. Avoid
teasing them or making them angry.
3. Do not bother animals while they are sleeping or eating. Do not
also disturb their nests, pens, and other shelters.
12. 4. Hold small pet animals like kittens, hamsters, and bunnies only
after an adult has shown you how this is done. Handle them with
care.
5. Do not touch or hold animals when they have just given birth or
are feeding their young.
