AND PERSONAL PROJECT
WITH ASANA

ASANA is :

member is working on.

It is the ultimate
task management
application tool
which is both
friendly to a mobile
and a web browser.

In this tutorial you
will learn how to
create a project with
a team and a project
of your own.

Now let‘s get started!

First,open your browser:

Type: www.asana.com

This will appear :

To create an account click

Write your email

Then click

You will be
asked to verify
your email…
Open your
email inbox

Click on your email

Click to continue

Enter your Profile details

Enter your first & last name

Enter your organization name

Enter your work email

Enter your personal email

Enter your password

Add your photo

Click continue

Enter email addresses of your Team

Note that for the Free version
of Asana, only 15 members
are allowed.

After that you click

To add a task to a particular Project

Menu bar of your dashboard

This contains all tasks of all your projects

Inbox shows notifications & comments

Dashboard shows the summary & progress

The plus button to add Task, Project, etc

You search anything in this box

Let us now make a Project with a Team

Click Project

Type your Project Name

Click Create Project

This is your Team Project name

Is your Team dashboard area

This contains
your team
members, team
calendar, team
conversation &
your team
Project/s

On the middle area

Is your tasks & section area

The tasks are
small “to-dos” of
your project.
Task can be
further
subdivided into
sections.

In the right part

Is the inbox area

Inbox is where the
team members
post comments,
exchange
conversation,
send files, or put
tags.

Now let’s add a task

Click add task

Type your tasks

This is your task

Your task is also reflected in the inbox

To assign
this task
to one of
your team
members

Click this icon

Then Click this member

This task is now assigned

…to this member

Other members
can add
comments or
add a reminder
of this task

On this area…

Comments will appear

Add a calendar reminder

Due date of the task is marked

Other details of the task

To see a calendar task click

Assigned task started

Task due date

Click to see your progress

The Project is not completed

When Project
is completed
the progress

appear

Now let’s add a Personal
project

Type the name of your personal project

Select your personal project “layout”

Click create project

Click Add Column

Create a task

Click “+” to add a task

Hit “enter” to add another column

Write sections to every tasks

Click to add date reminder

To set the
time &
day
frequency
reminder

click

Set “repeat reminder”

Set to daily reminder every 9am

click ok

Click to “delete or archive” a project

Choose which action
