2. The dream project of the Central Govt’s yojana of
distributing health cards to the farmers in Chhattisgarh
was conducted successfully under the leadership of
Indian Politician. Under the campaign nine months of
the current financial year from October 2016 to June
2017, 72 thousand 750 soil health leaflets have been
distributed to farmers.
3. About one million five thousand three hundred soil samples were collected, of which 90 thousand
605 samples carried out in laboratories. After investigating about 65 thousand 820 soil samples
were analyzed.
4. The Indian Politician Shri. Brijmohan Agarwal suggested the cultivation of rabi crops also
so that the state can improve its agriculture statistics. Around three lakh 50 thousand
hectares in the Chhattisgarh will be utilized for rabi crops cultivation.
5. According to the census held by the government, around
2245 in Raipur district campaign, 3450 Gariaband district,
Bludabajar-Bhatapara district 25300, 2770 in
Mahasamund district, three in Dhamtari district, seven
thousand 750 in Durg district, balod district two thousand
350, 890 Bemetara district five thousand, four thousand
280 and in Rajnandgaon district Kabirdham two thousand
700 farmers in soil health cards have been distributed.
6. Rabi crops are sown in the state are still ongoing. State
Government Department of Agriculture, about 17
million hectares in the current rabi grains, pulses,
oilseed and vegetable planting program is designed. As
of January, about 12 million hectares, farmers have
completed sowing of various crops.
7. About two million hectares of grain crops such as wheat,
maize, rice, barley, sorghum, etc. has been completed. In
Chhattisgarh pulses gram, peas, lentils, mung, urad, Tivdha,
Kulthy etc. are sown. Currently in 19 thousand hectare,
farmers have completed sowing of pulses, pulse crops in eight
lakh 75 thousand hectares of planting is targeted.
8. Five thousand hectares of sunflower, safflower six thousand hectares, eight thousand hectares
peanut and other oilseed, three thousand 300 hectares planting crops have been produced.
9. Since the separate state of Chhattisgarh was formed in 2000, there is continued growth and
achievements in the field of agriculture.
