Ravi Ranjan
Dear Ravi Ranjan, AMCAT ID:10013412324539
Thanks for appearing for AMCAT on 12 April 2012. AMCAT is India's largest employability test. AMCAT seven
stroke feedback report shall help you understand your employability and identify your strengths and
weaknesses in different modules. At the same time, we shall highlight your strengths to various companies
on our panel. Companies in various sectors recruit for multiple positions using AMCAT.
AMCAT is India's only adaptive test. It automatically becomes easy or tough according to your
performance in questions. Your AMCAT score is not equal to the number of questions answered correctly as
is the case in any other test. The score is calculated by an advanced statistical engine, which takes into
consideration questions difficulty, discrimination, guess probability, time to attempt a question and several
other factors.

College percentile is your percentile amongst all the students in your college who took AMCAT
Overall percentile is your percentile amongst all the candidates (belonging to the same degree as
yours) tested by us nationally till now. If your overall percentile for a module is NA, it means we do
not calculate percentile for that module
If your reported score is -1, it means you attempted less than the minimum number of questions in
that section. In such a case no score is reported. A score of -2 means you did not attempt the
module. NA: Not Available

3. PERFORMANCE CHAKRA
DIAGNOSTICS AND GUIDANCE
English
Our Performance Chakra provides you with a bird's-eye view of your performance in different sections of
modules you have attempted. The three levels indicate your performance as poor, average or good.
Note: If a module is not colored, it means that either you have not attempted sufficient number of questions
in that module or you have not taken or attempted that module.
In this section we analyze your performance in each module you have taken and guide you on how to
improve your performance in it.
Your performance in English is amongst the top. Be sure to maintain this level of excellence throughout
by regular practice. Try to exceed yourself by expanding your lexicon and learning about subtleties of
this wonderful language. All the best!
4. Quantitative Ability(Technical)
Computer Fundamentals
Computer Programming
Your performance in Quantitative Ability(Technical) is amongst the top. According to our analysis, you
have mathematical bend of mind. Your basic concepts are clear in all relevant areas of Quantitative
Ability. However you need to practice questions in each topic to reach the top. You do have the
potential to excel. You just require some determination and hard work. All the best!
Tips / Suggestions for You
Always first try to solve the problem yourself. Do not look into the solution directly.
Your performance in Computer Fundamentals is average. According to our analysis, you have a fair
understanding of computer software. However, you would need to work on your understanding of
hardware. Try to tweak minor computer problems by your own.
Tips / Suggestions for You
You should work on identifying all parts of a computer, their purpose and their usage. Further try
to debug hardware problems in your PC yourself.
Knowledge of Windows is a requirement in most industries. So, gear up your knowledge by
exploring different functions of Windows
Try to spend at least 20 hours every week on the PC using various software and exploring new
stuff on the Internet.
Your performance in Computer Programming is average. While your performance in programming
concepts and data structures is good, there seems to be a lack of interest in object oriented
programming. So, focus more on this section to achieve perfection in all areas. You should practice
writing programs in an object oriented language such as C++, Python or Java.
Tips / Suggestions for You
You should begin with concentrating on basic programming. Choose a high-level language like
C/C++/Java and try to implement many different programs (pattern/series generation, arithmetic
operations, decision-making, use of functions, etc.) on it.
For object oriented programming, you may choose to study the concepts through the medium of
C++. We recommend the book "Object Oriented Programming in C++" by Robert Lafore.
5. Logical Ability
REFERENCES
TIME ANALYSIS
SUGGESTED TIME SCHEDULE
Your performance in Logical Ability is amongst the top. You are able to understand statements, draw
inferences based on it and also spot patterns. Good job! But you are still not perfect. In order to
master this section, try harder questions. Though, initially, such questions may take time but in the long
run, you would sharpen your skills tremendously.
Tips / Suggestions for You
Abductive reasoning refers to being able to infer a course of action, derive a conclusion, infer
underlying assumptions, etc. to a given set of statements. These questions test your ability to
take decisions based on information in a real-world scenario. You should read
analytical/business magazines and newspapers to improve your abductive reasoning.
We suggest you following books / links to help you improve in your weak areas. The references are custom
generated for you according to your performance in AMCAT.

This section tells you about how you have spent the allotted time in taking AMCAT. The graph below gives
you an idea about your speed in attempting the questions in different modules. We compare your speed
with general population and tell you whether you were faster (upward facing bar) or slower (downward
facing bar) or normal (no bar) at attempting questions.
As compared to general population, you were quite fast in attempting questions in Computer Programming,
C++ and Logical Ability.
Based on your performance, we suggest how much time approximately you need to spend on studying a
particular section of a module in a week. The bar graph shows the time you need to devote to each topic in
a section, while the pie chart suggests how you should divide your time across different sections.
6. JOB MATCH FOR YOU
Note: Modules without subdivision shall not be included in the bar graph. We cannot comment for modules
with scores 0, -1 or -2.
