1. Jesus is like a Speaker with a Microphone
“Give It Over to the Lord!”
Whenever someone gets up and speaks with a microphone, they’re
usually always talking about some important business, or a big even that’s
getting ready to happen. They’re on a stage standing behind a podium,
looking down at the audience members - all the guests that came to hear
them speak. Well, God is just like that! God is thee Speaker, and we’re
supposed to be the listeners. When someone prepares you for a guest
speaker, almost always they give you a little introduction or background
about them. And just after doing that, they say, “Now I’m going to turn
it over to the hands of…” Give It Over to the Lord! Jesus speaks and
makes His announcements from the heavens above. That’s His stage. We
as people in the world are the audience members. Our ears and hearts
are to be open to His messages. Sometimes His voice can be as loud as a
thundering clap or as soft as the still voice in the night. Whichever way
He speaks to us over the loud speaker, He does speak!
