3. A TRUE SOLUTION OF COMMON SALT
• AIM:- To prepare a true solution of
common salt
• MATERIALS REQUID:-Clean dry
beaker,100ml of distilled water ,
common salt , glass rod
• PROCEDURE:- First take a beaker add
100 ml of water now add some
common salt and stire it with the glass
rod
• OBSERVATION:- Salt will completely
dissolve
• CONCLUSION:-The salt completely
dissolves because it is a homogenous
mixture of solute and solvent .
4. A SUSPENSION OF SOIL , CHALK POWDER
AND FINE SAND IN WATER
• AIM:-To show suspension of chalk powder
in water
• MATERIALS REQUID:- A glass beaker ,
100ml of water , soil ,glass rod
• PROCEGUR:- Take a beaker add water of
100 ml in a beaker and add chalk powder
now stir well and wait for a while
• OBSERVATION:-Chalk doesen’t dissolve in
water
• CONCLUSION:- the chalk powder don’t
dissolve it is a heterogeneous mixture in
which solute particles do not dissolve but
remain suspended and can be seen
through necked eye
5. A COLLIDAL SOLLUTION OF STRACH IN WATER /MILK IN WATER
DISTINDUISH BETWEEN THESE ON THE BASIS OF SOLUBILITY,FILTRATION
CRITERION ,SCATTERING OF LIGHT.
• AIM:-Making a colloidal solution
• MATERIALS REQUID:-Beaker , water , milk , and glass rod
• PROCEDURE:-Take a beaker with water now add milk to it now stire
it with a glass rod
• OBESERVATION:-Milk will not mix with water
• CONCLUSION:-The milk will not dissolve with water and particals
of matter can be seen so it is a colloidal solution.
