2. Abstract:
Mobile phones are useful instruments that improve communication and simplify education.
Numerous advantages that mobile phones provide to students have less direct connection to
education and more to do with how they might be used to support it. This contains the majority
of the features that one just expects will be available on any mobile phone, like calculators, the
enormous repository of knowledge that is the internet, and long-distance communication via a
variety of channels. A student can benefit from all of these and more while they are in school. .
In addition to its effectiveness in different aspects of life, smartphones have also been recognized
as an important educational tool that facilitates both learning and teaching process in the field of
education (Wali, 2020).This study intends to investigate the importance of Mobile phones and
how does it affect the grades of the students This study utilized a qualitative and descriptive
design with Grade 11 STEM students of Basilan National High School as the respondents.
