Plastic Products Licensing Procedure
The Plastic Products Licensing procedure based on the Ministerial Order No. 11 of 2019 with
respect to the promulgation of the Technical Regulation of Plastic Products is explained as
follows:
· An application must be submitted by the Company / Organization to the Environmental Licensing
Section, at Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) with all the required documents as stated in the
Plastic Products Application Form.
· ISO 14001 certifications are mandatory requirements by August 2020. Copy of the ISO certificate must
be attached with the application form.
· The plastic product must be tested by an accredited laboratory as per the regulation.
· The Plastic Product License is valid for one year.
· SCE will issue serial number for each product.
· The conformity marking must be affixed on the product and the product serial number must be printed
with the marking.
· The mark printing resolution must be clear, readable and in proportion to standard version as mentioned
in Appendix 2.
