imaging optics designed, fabricated and installed by M/s Clique Developments Ltd. ARUN technology is evaluated and
tested by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Regional Test Centre, MNRE (Pune).The concentrator has two-axes
tracking system, configured as diurnal (vertical) and seasonal (horizontal) axes, such that the dish aperture always faces
the Sun. It has aperture area which reflects the incident solar radiation onto the receiver mounted at the focal point. The
receiver consists of downward facing cavity for absorption of solar radiation into heating medium. ARUN® Solar
Concentrator system can be best used for high temperature, medium temperature, low quantity small industrial process
heat applications where typically electricity or fossil oils, viz. Furnace Oil, LDO, LSHS, Diesel, etc. are used. The system
can be used to supply hot water, hot thermic fluid or pressurized steam. It also consist of integration part.
