Form 16 / Form 12BA are Income Tax returns submitted to the
employees for each assessment year
Oracle Applications uses archive based reporting through XML
Publisher for generating the Report
Data needed for EOY reporting is archived through the “End of
Year Archival (India)” process
Single Concurrent Request generates Form16 / Form12BA

worked with the company in the financial year
 Displays income details from the current employer / current
TAN number
 Previous Employer related details would not be shown

 Generated automatically with Form 16
 Reports Perquisites/profit in lieu of salary as part of salary

7. Employer Quarterly Tax Returns
Form 24Q is Quarterly Tax Returns submitted by employer to
the Income Tax authorities
Captures details on Tax deducted from Employees and Tax
Deposited to IT department
Generated in Electronic file format (also referred as e-TDS
return file)

 Run the Payroll for Payroll Period in GRE/Legal Entity ‘B’
 There will be 2 Form16 generated in this case - one in GRE/Legal
Entity ‘A’ and other in GRE/Legal Entity ‘B’
