1. Optical Art (1964-present)
In 1964 –a new art form came
in to the scene called Optical or
op art, as named by the Time
Magazine.

2. Op art was a type of
abstract art made of
geometric shape.

3. These shapes and
patterns were chosen for
their designed illusion
rather than its content.

4. Earliest Op art were
black and white that
later developed to use
vibrant colors.

became very popular but
it quickly latter part of
