Project Description :
The purpose of this project is to combine information from different, separate source systems (ERP &
HIS), into one centralized Database (DW), and experience single point access for the reports. Clean
Reliable data from source systems that will be effectively used to give solutions about the Key
Business areas which helps in Analysis and Decision Making for Top Management.
Responsibilities/ Contributions:
 Developing BI reports for different modules like HIS, Finance, Inventory etc. using SAS
WRS.
 Extracting data from different data sources (like HIS, ERP etc.) and transforming it as
per the requirement of the customer and then loading it into a datawarehouse using SAS
DI.
 Defining hierarchy to the dimension for providing drill down facility in the report using
SAS Cube Studio.
 Scheduling of DI jobs and cubes by creating flows in SMC.
 Testing of the report till data level using SQL.
 Creation of high level technical design documents and their review with offshore team,
client leads and managers.
 User management and providing authorization to the users as per the requirement.
 Restarting SAS services on regular bases, updating SAS License once in a year and
working on issues related with tools.
