The UN Secretary-General informs the President of the Security Council that he has re-established the Panel of Experts for Liberia until June 2006 as mandated by Security Council resolution 1647. He appointed five experts, including nationals from Canada, France, the UK, Sierra Leone and India, with relevant experience in arms, timber, diamonds, finance and humanitarian issues. Arthur Blundell of Canada was designated as the Chairman of the re-established Panel of Experts on Liberia.
