Subject: RE: APPUCATTON FOR EXEMPTIONS FOR NQF 4/5
Dear Rita,
Many thanks for your e-mail, and attachments, the contents of which have been noted.
I now attach the following documents for your intormation, namely:
• a document reflecting the procedure to be adopted when applying for an equivalency exemption;
• the relevant practice note in this respect; and
• a copy of the Equivalency Matrices in respect of the NW Level 4 and S real estate qualifications.
As payment of the assessment fee for an equivalency exemption application is required to be made up front and is
non-refundable, it is essential that exemption applicants carefully consider the equivalency matrix that has been
provided before deciding whether or not to apply for the equivalency exemption. Doing so also serves as the
necessary diagnostic assessment that should be undertaken by equivalency applicants factually to assess whether
they, indeed, qualify for the grant of the equivalency exempLion.
It is most unlikely that the qualification attached to your e-mail under reply Gvould be sufficient for the grant to you
of an equivalency exemption against the NUF Level 4 and S real estate qualifications.
id regards,
dive Ashpol
