Final Project
Students will author a complete final interactive project,
employing ActionScript within Flash Professional.
When creating the project, the student will:

Demonstrate proper utilization of basic, intermediate, and
advanced ActionScript techniques within the interactive project.
●
Integrate principles of graphic design.
●
Integrate principles of user-interface design.
●
Integrate rich interactivity into the final project.
Requirements:
●
Your final interactive project must be done using Adobe Flash
Professional and utilize ActionScript 3.0.
Projects must be uploaded to Blackboard with both the .SWF
and .FLA files (embedding into a website is optional).
Interactivity:
●
Your final interactive project must be fully interactive, i.e.,
elements on the stage that the user can click, move, etc.
Also, different screens are present (e.g, game over scene,
different web site page, etc.)
The project will be graded using the following rubric:

ActionScript
Project utilizes advanced usage of ActionScript
Project utilizes intermediate level of ActionScrict including:
Event Listeners, variables, functions, etc.
Project contains basic use of ActionScript and/or Behaviors.
The project does not contain any ActionScript or use of
Behaviors.
Functionality
Project displays complete functionality and is executed
flawlessly.
Project functions properly with no errors.
Project functions, but there are some portions that do not work
properly.
Project does not function properly, ActionScript errors are
present throughout.
